FALL 2026 CORE REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR ALL CORE PLAYERS

Fall 2026 Season starts August 22, 2026 through October 31, 2026.

Core Programs Offered:

Divisions: Playground (4U), 5U, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 19U

Games: Saturdays @ Kaiser, Harper, Woodland, Lindburgh, Back Bay High and Peninsula Park

Program Fees:

• Early Bird Registration Price: $150.00* ends 06/28/2026, 11:59 PM
  
• Regular Registration Price: $180.00* ends 07/26/2026, 11:59 PM
  
• Late Registration Price: $205.00* for registrations after 07/28/2026
  

*Program fee does not include MY2026-2027 $25.00 AYSO annual membership fee and a $3.50 National Service Fee.

READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER 

• AYSO Region 97 Fall 2026 Core Program runs from August through October.
  
  
• Please see below for details on registration fees in addition to a $25 annual membership fee assessed once a membership year by AYSO National and a $3.50 processing fee per order transaction. 

• Early bird pricing ($30 off) at $150 through 6/28/26
• Regular Pricing at $180 from 6/29/26 to 7/26/26
• Late Registration at $205 ($25 fee) for registrations 7/27/26 and after

• Core is AYSO's most common soccer program for kids ages 3 - 18 and unless you have received an invite for our EXTRA or SELECT program your player will be registering for our Core Program

• AYSO bases divisions on the new age calendar that starts on August 1st through July 31st which is the standard adopted by AYSO National.  If you're not sure in which division your child plays, review the age to division chart above. We cannot accept requests for children to "play down" into lower age brackets. 

• If this is your first time registering in Region 97, you must upload a scan/photo of the player's birth certificate for age verification. If you do not have a copy of your players' birth certificate, we will accept a passport in lieu of the birth certification.
  
  
• Players do not need to try-out for Core. As long as we have enough coaches, every child that wants to play gets to play.

• Practices for the Fall Season will start in mid-August. Games are Saturdays with the first game starting on August 22nd and will run through October 31st for a ten-week season. Fall Season Only: The upper divisions (8U+) will have playoffs, and your season may extend longer dependent on team qualifications.

• The practice schedule is entirely up to the team's Head Coach. The ONLY WAY to choose your practice days is to volunteer to be the Head Coach

• Teammate requests are allowed only in the lower divisions (5U through 7U) and please note we do not accept team requests for the 8U and higher divisions (see below for the few exceptions that are made). 
  
  
•  Division Directors will email all registered players once registration has closed on July 26th to send their coach and team requests. Please refrain from emailing Registrar or your Division Directors before that date as we are not able to form teams until registration has closed. 
  
  
•  The only way to guarantee a teammate at the 8U and above divisions is to volunteer as a Head Coach as all Head Coaches are allowed to "lock" an Asst Coach and a Team Referee and their respective players.
