B13U EXTRA - Wins 2nd Place in Western States Championship

Congratulations to our Boy EXTRA 13U team for making it all the way to the Western States Championship. Bringing together the best AYSO EXTRA teams from California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington states.

Newport's boys played a great first game and walked away with a 2-1 win during the morning. After a short break, the boys were back on the pitch and played a tough game against a worthy opponent, Hunting Beach. After four quarters of nail biting play, Region 97 walked away with the second place medals. It was a battle for sure and the boys just missed the big trophy with a 0-1 ending.

Newport is definitely proud of their boys for representing our region all the way to the last possible game of the season! We look forward to seeing what the boys will do this Fall!!
