2nd Tryouts for AYSO Region 97 EXTRA program for MY2019  have been completed for several age groups. Additional tryouts are pending for G9U BY2011 and G13U BY2008.

Following the 2nd tryout, teams will be formed and announced in May.

The AYSO EXTRA program offers a club-like experience within AYSO, including enhanced competition, experienced coaches, tournament play while remaining true to the principles that defines AYSO. The cost to participate is a fraction of clubs fees while still offering the highest competition and coaching expertise.

Teams are are formed through open competitive tryouts in February. The Membership Year begins August 1 and consists of a Fall and Spring season. The competitive season begins in September and lasts through December. Successful teams play in championship games in January through March.  The spring season has a greater focus on skill development with fewer league games and opportunities for additional tournament play.

(NOTE: G9U, 2011 has postponed their second tryout, a new date will be posted soon.)  
Players must wear proper footwear and shin guards. It is suggested that you bring a light jacket and water and arrive early to warm-up..
