Both R97 B12U Teams advance to Finals *UPDATE*

Tuesday night the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, coached by Richard Juge, beat R57 Luis Morales to win pool play and advance to the finals.

The Chilli Peppers trailed for most of the first half after an early goal by MacDougal until they converted a penalty kick to tie the score. In the second half, Team Morales made several challenges, but a break-away on the right win by fullback Seebass provided the go-ahead goal in the  40th minute. This is the second year in a row that Coach Juge will play in the Area Q finals..

The Chilli Peppers will face another Region 97 team, coached by Doug Purcell. Each team advanced to the finals with a record of 2-0-1 and 22 points. The match will be played on Tuesday night, December 18th 6PM at Jack Hammet Sports complex.for Area Q Championship.
